  2. -1 ½ tsp baking powder
  3. - ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  4. - ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  5. - ¼ cup peanut butter (make sure it's Xylitol-free, as Xylitol is toxic to dogs)
  6. - 2 large eggs - ½ cup shredded carrots
  7. - ½ cup mashed banana

For the Frosting:

  • - ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • - 2 tbsp peanut butter

**Instructions:**

1. **Preheat the Oven:**

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan or cupcake molds with a little coconut oil or use silicone molds for easy removal.

2. **Mix Dry Ingredients:**

In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour (or oat flour) and baking powder.

3. **Prepare Wet Ingredients:**

In a separate bowl, whisk together the unsweetened applesauce, plain Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and eggs until well combined.

4. **Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:**

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

5. **Add Carrots and Banana:**

Gently fold in the shredded carrots and mashed banana to the batter.

6. **Bake:**

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan or molds. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The baking time may vary depending on the size of your cake or cupcakes.

7. **Cool:**

Allow the cake to cool completely before removing it from the pan or molds.

8. **Prepare Frosting:**

To make the frosting, mix plain Greek yogurt and peanut butter until smooth.

9. **Frost the Cake:**

Once the cake is cool, spread a thin layer of the yogurt and peanut butter frosting on top.

10. **Decorate (Optional):**

You can decorate the cake with some dog-friendly treats, banana slices, or grated carrots.

11. **Serve:**

Slice the cake and serve a portion to your furry friend. Remember that this is a treat and should be given in moderation.

Before making any homemade treats for your dog, ensure that the ingredients are safe and suitable for your dog's dietary needs. It's also recommended to consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods to your dog's diet, especially if your dog has any allergies or health conditions.
